TWINKLE,  TWINKLE  LITTLE  STAR

  Lyrics:  Jane Taylor (English, 1806)        Melody:  "Ah! vous dirai-je, maman" (French, 1761)
Some classical musicians, including W.A.Mozart in 1781, composed variations around this melody.
​There is also (unproven) folklore that Mozart actually composed it as a young child.
Button Accordion Notation  (for beginners who know the melody)
​Although you may be a "beginner" on the button accordion, you already know lots of melodies, perhaps including  "Twinkle, twinkle Little Star".   If so, you already have a sense of how long to hold each treble note, and where to put the emphasis.  You just need to get use to it on the button accordion.
Either row:  Buttons 3 to 5    
(Place first finger at button 3 and third finger at 5, covering all the notes without having to change your finger positions.)
