Most of these 12 videos follow the 2/4 time shown above. A couple of them have the tempo and rhythm of polkas, but in the Newfoundland and Labrador videos they tend to be played not as polkas, but faster as "singles", with a simple "1 _ 2" beat, and, in some cases, more like fast 4/4-time reels. You be the judge!

I could not find information on the origin of this tune. However, the majority of the youTube videos of this tune appear to have Newfoundland and Labrador sources or connections.
It is also known in Newfoundland and Labrador, and perhaps elsewhere, as 'Round Old Ruby’s Garden', 'Ruby’s Garden', and is the second part of a physically-demanding dance known locally as 'Running The Goat'.
